May 26May 26 Hi all, been a while so bear with me...I upgrade my one server to 7.3.0 from 7.2. (5 iterations prior) and one of my Cache pool drives is now throwing loads of errors. (see attached)Is it really just coincidental that the drive failed at the same time I upgraded? Or did I miss something along the way during the upgrade?Attached files to hopefully assist those in the know.Thank you everyone! darktowerbeams-diagnostics-20260526-1035.zip Document1.pdf
May 26May 26 Community Expert Pools were not monitored pre 7.3, so the issues were already there; you just weren't notified.Scrub the pool, and if there are no uncorrectable errors, reset the stats and keep monitoring. The current errors suggest one of the devices dropped offline in the past, most often due to a power/connection issue.
May 26May 26 Author @JorgeB Interesting...we just had a brief power outage that took down the big Plex server but not this little workhorse. Thought it odd at the time...I did try to "scrub the pool" and it did not seem to make a difference. I will do it again anyway.Would you point me to the directions to "reset the stats", please? So in the end, reset the stats and just roll with it? Would it be beneficial to restart? Finally, (foregoing the obvious) is there a 'shutdown' process difference between restart and shutdown? Thanks for the assist!!
