after 7.3.1 update - iOS 'Files' connected but says ' (ip address) is empty'

Hey all,

Dell 7920 1x xeon silver 8C/16T 32GB (4x8GB) Ram

tldr: cant browse/copy/paste to share via iphone 'files' app after 7.1.? to 7.3.1 update.

7.1 - no problem browsing/copying/pasting files to shares on iphone - files app.

after update to 7.3.1 - I can connect, but now files app says '(ip address) is Empty'

Windows and mac desktops - connect/browse the share with no problem (connected via ethernet cable).

'SMB Security Settings' for the share is set to export-yes & security-public (same as before update).

Share 'SMB Settings' are as they were before update.

I checked release notes/searched forum & google etc.. but didnt see anything related to it....

Any ideas why this now doesnt work as it did before?

Side note: ironically when 7.3.1 update went to reboot the system - the machine would not boot or post to bios. It would turn on but no error lights, beeps, splash screen or access to bios. Troubleshooting - replacing the CPU brought it back to life. In the process i replaced the CMOS battery and reset the CMOS. I went thru the bios afterwards making sure things like sata protocol AHCI was correct.
