I just upgraded to 5.0 rc4 today (from 4.7), and have noticed a substantial speed (only 150k/sec last try) decrease while reading from the user share over the network.any help will be appreciate it log file is attached

Could post a syslog that included activity from when you notice the slow read speeds? i.e.:

 

Boot

Do your read test, preferably using large files

After confirming things were slow, submit syslog

 

Apologies if that's what you already did, but at first glance there wasn't much interesting in the syslog I downloaded.

What test do you recommend I use?

From your logfile, it says your network is unreachable, did you make the logfile while you didn't have the network-cable plugged in? If it was, you may want to check the cable and/or router.

 

Also, I am not sure if it is because it is unreachable or not, but I see unraid only sets the IP-address, which is static in your case, but not the netmask and gateway, so you need to check your network.cfg to see if you have your netmask and gateway set up correctly.
