June 12Jun 12 One of my drives recently started to show errors. When I go to attributes it is showing me reported uncorrect and offline uncorrected in orange. It is showing 760 errors atm. Is the drive failing? It will be about two weeks before I could replace the drive. Should I turn off the server? Would that even help if I am losing data. If I am losing data is there anyway to know what I have lost. It is just a basic plex server so all replaceable media. Thank you.

June 12Jun 12 Community Expert Solution Disk2 is having read errors, if the screenshot is disk2, you should consider replacing it. It does appear you have a parity disk so as long as it's in sync, you wont lose any data unless a 2nd disk has issues. The sign to watch for is if those numbers for reallocated and uncorrectable continue to increase, if they do, the disk is going to die soon. If the numbers stabilize where they are, you can continue to get more life out of it BUT i would suggest having another disk ready to replace it. It could last a few days, weeks, months or just die later today.
