June 16Jun 16 I recently updated to 7.3.1, and my system started up extremely slowly.I had a drive failing, so I replaced it, but rebuilding is taking forever. That would mean SATA port multipliers, which were never recommended, but I suspected there may be some kernel regression where they don't work correctly with more recent ones, since other users have experienced issues with them after upgrading.

I never had a problem with this setup until I tried to update to the latest OS version.
June 24Jun 24 Community Expert If it's a kernel regression it will need to be fixed upstream in the kernel, then Unraid will inherit it
June 30Jun 30 Author Solution Just replying to this to mark it as a solution.Reverting to 7.2.4 from 7.3.1 resolved my issue. Doesn't resolve getting eSATA w/ Port Multiplier working on 7.3.1. Hope it gets resolved in a future version.
