(SOLVED) Lost Email Containing License file

Featured Replies

Hey all,

So I (stupidly) formatted my USB without first copying the license file, and I can't seem to find the email that had the file attached to it (which is odd since I never delete emails, but I've looked everywhere I can think of and can't find it). I guess the first question is if the email is from some weird email address (I've been searching through my gmail using unraid and lime technology, but if it's under something else random obviously it wouldn't come up under those).

If I can't find the email is there any other way to recover the file? I've emailed Lime Tech about this, but I'm still waiting to hear back.

Thanks

do a search in gmail for Tom......

Nope  :-\

So I have two emails that are receipts, one from paypal and one from Lime Tech. There should be a third email, correct?

Yes - my licenses came by email direct from Tom, as opposed to from Lime Technology.

searching "Tom" didn't turn anything up. Any idea what the email address is that it came from?

I'm guessing the email got lost somehow (again, pretty surprised since I rarely rarely delete emails, especially important ones...)

Funny thing. I just looked in my mailbox to see the address for my keys to try and help.

I have the 2 receipts (Paypal and webecart)  and I can see my reply to one. but my email with my keys are missing. I still have my keys on my flash and in a backup. I can see it came from tomm at lime-technology.com

Strange.

The only thing I might have done is do a mailbox cleanup since the keys came from tomm as did ALL  spam/notices from the forum up until recently. weird part is i have most of the spam from that time frame.

If you have the paypal # still.. I would just send an email to tomm at lime-technology.com request a reissue of the same key with the paypal# and GUID as reference. I am sure you are not the first or the last to do this.

I just sent you a private message with the email address to try and protect Tom from the spambots.

Thanks I got it. Unfortunately I'm still not finding the email. Oh well, guess I just have to wait until he gets back to me (already emailed him with the information mentioned above)

Same thing. I NEVER delete emails. They all just get sorted into various labels in gmail. It's like this one had a self-destruct in it or something  ;D
