How to speed up the download??

Featured Replies

Hello good people)

I've just upgraded my internet speed to 2500mbit, but i still have a download about 1000mbit..

Anyone who has an idea, on how to fix that?? I have 3 hdds and a nvme drive.. my primary array, is set so that all new downloads will go through nvme cache drive.. But is still slow(

I have a 2500 mbit intel nic in my server)

Anyone who have an idea??

Thank you

regards

You need to check your entire network from start to finish to make sure it is all fully capable of supporting 2.5Gbps, Modem/Router, Cables, NIC, Switches, whatever you are using. All of it has to support 2.5Gbps.

If you're using a commercial VPN service, you're likely capped at 1Gbps over the VPN.

What does your network widget report?

Hello again) Thank you

My router supports the speed, and i've installed speedtest, which says 2500 mbit from my pc to my server.. My interface is also saying 2,5gbps..and my vpn is also not caped:(.. And i get full speed on my desktop:..

Anyone with an idea??

Run an iperf test between both PCs to confirm the LAN is all working at 2.5GbE

Test must be made between a client and the server, a loop test is not really worth anything.
