5.0-beta13 plus, stuck at "Starting..." after reboot. [SOLVED]

Featured Replies

Hi,

In the evening, I noticed the SABnzbd on the unraid isn't running as I was trying to check the download status. (The system has been running 24x7 for about a year, works great btw)

I thought it was just a power glitch brought the system down. When I log into the web GUI, it says "starting..." in the main window. I restarted the system (Acer H340), did not help. It still stuck at the "Starting...".

I tried pulled out all the drives, and slide them in one after another, the system seems able to recognize the drive one after another, but after I click the "Start" button, it hands.

SmartCtl says: Device Read Identity Failed (not an ATA/ATAPI device), the command I used was: smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sda

Please advice.

Thanks!

Disable the plugins and reboot. Enable 1 by 1 til you find which if any is causing the hang

Seems like couchpotato is the offender.

Thanks, I'll check the other thread of the plugin update.

Figured, I'm chasing this bug down, can you give me a detailed description on your setup? Basic plus or pro, cache drive or no, dedicated apps drive, install locations of plugins, data directory of plugins, all that good stuff.

I'm almost positive at this point it happens when the data directories are stored on an array drive, but the more info the better.

Also, if the plugins havent been updated recently they could use it, URLs have changed with the golden trio(sab, sick & couchpotato)

Plus. No cache.

Yup, indeed the golden trio.

Couchpotato

install - /usr/local/couchpotato

Data -/mnt/disk2/usenet/CouchPotato

SABnzbd

install - /usr/local/sabnzbd

data - /mnt/disk2/usenet/SABnzbd

Sickbeard

install - /usr/local/sickbeard

data - /mnt/disk2/usenet/SickBeard

It has been stable for months - it just somehow stopped working on 19th.

Thanks!

Jason

Have you updated the plugins recently? URLs changed for all three recently

Did you mean if I have updated the plugins? Nope. But it seems i have the most up-to-date versions.

couchpotato - 0.5

sabnzbd - 0.4c

sickbeard -0.4a

Should I try overwriting them anyway?

Thanks,

Jason

Downloaded couchpotato_v2_mod.plg, sabnzbd_mod.plg, sickbeard_mod.plg, and removed the old plugins.

When I start the couchpotato, it got stuck at:

Starting CouchPotato v2: sudo -u nobody python /usr/local/couchpotato_v2/CouchPotato.py --daemon --config_file /boot/config/plugins/couchpotato_v2/settings.conf --pid_file /var/run/couchpotato_v2.pid
