June 22, 201214 yr When i try to use the stock browser on my ipad3 to go to "//unraid" it gives me an error. Is there any workaround for it? Doing this on pc/laptop (internet explorer) gives me no problems.

June 22, 201214 yr The laptop is using SMB to find the server. The iPad only has DNS. If you have a router with DD-WRT you can add the server names to the local DNS.
June 22, 201214 yr Have you tried connecting via IP address? On my HP Touchpad running Android, I can't get it to resolve my local URL, but it will connect via its IP.

If you're jailbroken you can add a static entry into /etc/hosts on your iPad which would let you reference your UnRAID by name.
