Docker configs gone. Possibly after cache drive issue

Featured Replies

So my cache drive did something funny and unmounted a while back. I’m wondering if that has anything to do with my Arr docker container configs all being reverted back to default. I didn't notice all this until it had been a couple months so I don’t have a backup I can revert to. Is there anything I may be missing about this that might help me recover my app data so I don’t have to redo all my Arr app settings? See attached diagnostics. Thanks!

You have the appdata backup plugin installed.

Yes, but when I go to the earliest backup it's still the same...I obviously need to save backups for longer because I am not checking on things often enough. I guess I was just wondering if there was a chance the config was still around somewhere after the cache drive screwed up and I had to remount it.

Your docker templates are on the boot drive, in config/plugins/dockerMan/templates user. These are just the settings you made in the Unraid webUI when you installed or updated a container. These templates can be used to reinstall your dockers with those same settings using the Previous Apps feature on the Apps page. But...

Your appdata was probably on cache (it shouldn't be on the array). Appdata is the working storage of each container application. Anything the application needs to know, such as settings made in the application webUI, or a database the application might keep, for example, is in its appdata. Without appdata, the application in your container is a new install.
