July 7Jul 7 Hi Everyone,Recently i've been unable to access my Unraid shares. They were working perfectly fine for a long time but over the last month they have stopped working. I can still access things like Plex etc, but I just can't navigate to shares in Windows. I get the following error:"Windows cannot access \\MEDIASERVERCheck the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem withyour network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, clickDiagnose.Error code: 0x80070035The network path was not found."Clicking diagnose does not help. I have tried turning off SMB, turning it back on, checking setting etc but nothing has helped. I've also tried other various windows tweaks ive come accross, but nothing helps. I'm really hoping that someone can please help me out.Let me know if there is any other info you need.Thank youEDIT: I am using Windows 11 and experience the same issue on other devices.mediaserver-diagnostics-20260707-2139.zip Edited July 7Jul 7 by KumraNZ
July 7Jul 7 Author Just thought I would add that I also tried accessing it by typing the ipaddress instead of MEDIASERVER and I got the same error.
July 7Jul 7 Community Expert Don't see any issue logged on the Unraid side, can you access the flash drive over SMB if you enable that?

I go to the "Network" folder and double click "MEDIASERVER" and that error pops up. I've tried it via the run box also. As a side note, I can ping the mediaserver fine through CMD.
July 7Jul 7 Community Expert Start with this link in this thread:https://forums.unraid.net/topic/191221-some-musings-on-smb-and-samba-and-unraid-and-windows/#findComment-1561581Then read the next two posts. (The entire thread provides an explanation of how SMB, Samba, Windows and Unraid work together to provide connectivity. Understand that MS intends that Windows SMB will only work if the environment is completely secured from security risks!)
