July 17Jul 17 The only remaining part of my original build had to be changed out recently since I was struggling to update to a newer version because the backup of the previous version plus the new version took too much space on the usb key. For some reason I was automatically changed to a TPM license type with no choice to connect it to the usb guid like I set up the system about 14 years or more ago. The install date was reset to the date when I changed the usb key. So what I am wondering now is what, if anything, will happen when I swap out my CPU from AMD Ryzen 5 3600 to a AMD Ryzen 7 5700G? I'm not swapping out the motherboard or anything else, and I will free up a pci express port since the new CPU also have a GPU.
July 17Jul 17 Community Expert Switching from USB GUID to TPM is not automatic, it would have had to be done by you on the account.unraid.net page, you would have had to also acknowledged that the USB was to be blacklisted.See: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/troubleshooting/tpm-licensing-faq/ Edited July 17Jul 17 by MowMdown
