SABnzb folders

Featured Replies

Very basic question  I have created a  Movie share and it has a directory TMP .

I have configured the SABnzb watch folder to "movies/TMP"  nothing gets loaded so I must have the syntax incorrect.

any help would be appreciated..

thanks

Assuming its a user share, you need to use:

/mnt/user/movies/TMP

thanks for the response, didn't seem to work.  However,  I think I have a bigger problem SAB reports 0 GB of space free space.. the "Temporary Download Folder" is pointed to

"/mnt/sdb/.sabnzbd/downloads"  now I cant see that folder either in windows or Unraid..  so maybe its in memory...

I manually selected nzb file it downloaded it and unpacked but I still can't see it in the array..

where is this .sabnzbd folder located?

it shouldn't be sdb, it sghould be either /mnt/cache/ /mnt/disk1 etc or if its inside a usershare it should be /mnt/user/ShareName

Sorry for all the noob questions...

so I have no idea...  upon reboot I'm taken back to the wizard so the ini must be in memory

I dont have a cache disk..  So as I set the install dir to "/mnt/sdb/.sabnzbd"  as my disk1 is "sdb"  Maybe I screwed that up?

---------------

tried this "/mnt/disk1/.sabnzbd/downloads" but got error message couldnt create directory

may of fixed this..  would have helped to start the array again

some progress file appear

If you don't use /mnt/disk1 or the user shares in /mnt/user then you can screw up parity or end up with the data stored in memory and run out of memory.

no need to use a directory with the name starting with a "." on a data disk. That is used on the cache disk in 4.7 or the early 5.0 betas to keep the files from being moved to the array. You can create a cache only user share in the newer beta's and release candidates so the "." isn't needed there either.

Thanks to all I have it working now.  I will install a cache drive next week to manage the impact on the array.
