July 25Jul 25 Hi My USB Flash Drive has completely failedI was lucky to copy the contents over several months ago when I saw that it was starting to play up so have it copied to my laptop as folder structure. The drive was only 512MB so was running 6.5.3 i think and the latest versions are version 7.0What is the best method for me replacing my USB drive please any help will be very much appreciated
July 25Jul 25 Community Expert Create the new flash with the USB tool using the current version, then restore only the config folder from the backup. Also good to read the release notes for all the minor releases in between, (6.6.0, 6.7.0, 6.8.0, etc) especially if it's not just a simple NAS server.
July 25Jul 25 Author ok i managed to get all that done successfully, does unRAID 7.x have some power saving options ? If not it seems my power supply has died as well or is on its way out
July 25Jul 25 Community Expert There is a CPU power profile setting - Settings - Power, but that won't really help if there's a PSU issue.

When it finally dies, it doesn't always go quietly -- it can take your other components with it.That said, don't just rush out and grab the first bargain bin power supply you see. Quality matters a ton here. Definitely check out the PSU Tier lists before buying anything to make sure you're picking up something safe and reliable.Choose at least C-Tier or better.https://tuerie.github.io/psu-tier-list/https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1akCHL7Vhzk_EhrpIGkz8zTEvYfLDcaSpZRB6Xt6JWkc/edit?gid=1719706335#gid=1719706335
