6 hours ago6 hr I want to use Nextcloud for myself and my family on both PCs and phones. The main purpose is backups and photo storage, with separate folders for each family member as well as shared family photo albums.I'm wondering why I would need things like a domain, DuckDNS, Cloudflare, SWAG, reverse proxies, etc.Wouldn't it be enough to install Tailscale plugin on the Nextcloud server and on every device that should have access? As long as all users have Tailscale installed, shouldn't Nextcloud be reachable securely without exposing anything to the internet? What are the downsides of this approach?I have watched a lot on youtube, including the nextcloud ones from spaceinvader, but I don´t want to pay for a subscribtion and I don´t get why this has to be so complicated.
