I plan to connect a eGPU to Unraid (v7.3.2) via Thundebolt 3. My idea was to use the Sonnet Breakaway Box 750ex and a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5080 GAMING OC. Before purchasing the equipment I was wondering if the community has some good experience with eGPU and Unraid. Als reading through the post, I see the tendency it should work, but no real confirmations. Has anyone experience with eGPU and Unraid. My goal is really to build a local AI Inference system and use the GeForce to accelerate AI. I'm not using it for gaming or VM passthrough.

Any help and feedback would be very welcomed.
