1 hour ago1 hr Im trying to get mount network shares from my server onto my personal setup to be able to move files back and forth easier than using a flash drive or something. Ive gotten everything setup, and it works, until i reboot my pc or otherwise somehow unmount the shares. Then, i keep getting cifs_mount error code -13, which looks to be improper credentials. However, the only fix that actually works, is deleting the samba user on the server-side, and re-adding and re-enabling it. Even with the exact same user and password, changing nothing else on either side, it works, and i can mount again. I did have to configure samba personally, as while it came built-in, it wasnt fully working from the shares gui. But i followed the directions on the archwiki for setting it up on both sides of the connection. Is there anything Im missing here, or anything else i can provide to help solve this issue?
