Thursday at 06:24 AM4 days Community Expert SATA port multipliers are not recommended. Drives are there in the 2nd diags but also having read errors.
Thursday at 02:15 PM4 days Author Yeah, they generated constant read errors and connections were not persistent. Finally decided to try the USB connection which at least works, albeit a bit slow. The server has an Oculink connector, but cannot find a 5-bay extension box for that. I may just go with a second server and share over 10-Gbps Ethernet back to the mothership...
