Saturday at 05:10 PM2 days I've been running Unraid 7.2.2 since I installed it about a year ago on my T440 server. I'm preparing to add a second CPU and additional RAM to the T440 to allow me to use the PCIe x16 slot for a GbE NIC. I want to upgrade the OS while I'm at it. I've been watching the announcements and OS 7.3.3-rc.1 is still the latest, and 7.4 is still in beta. Is there anything I should keep in mind when adding a second CPU to a T440. Just shut everything down, disconnect power, add the CPU and RAM, and power it back up? Upgrade to 7.3.3-rc.1 beforehand? Wait for 7.4? or does it even matter?Edit ----------------- I did more research and learned that Unraid is running two parallel stable branches right now7.2.8 (latest, 2026-07-29)7.3.2 (2026-07-08, "recommended for all users"7.3.3-rc.1 (2026-09-03) literally the least-baked buildSo based on that information, and my desire for a low risk path, I'm favoring 7.3.2.
