Wednesday at 07:55 PM4 days I have two unraid servers, and have decided that if a drive fails on my "production" server, I am going to pull from my backup and shrink that array (I really don't need everything backed up anyway).The problem is if a drive fails on my backup.. I don't want to replace anything given the prices these days. Is it even possible to rebuild from parity without a replacement disk?Only other option I can think of is to buy a new disk, use it to rebuild, shrink the array, and then return it within the 30-day window.
