web gui crashing

Featured Replies

got sab, sickbeard and couchpotato running full steam on my rig now. very happy with it - except that the unraid web gui has crashed and won't restart via "nohup /usr/local/sbin/emhttp &" command.

It gives me a segmentation error when attempting to do this - so I had a look at my ram and of my 8gb i only have 250mb free! Ok that's probably as a result of the mover script having to shift 100s of GB of data around at the moment. Would doubling to 16GB make any difference here, RAMs only £30 for 8GB anyway here?

Can I dedicate the webgui as a process which is mission critical and as such dedicate X amount of RAM mb to it to prevent crashing?

I've attached syslog but also a screenshot of top from just now to give you an idea of where the systems up to. System specs below.
