Saturday at 06:18 PM1 day Not even sure if this is possible.Scenerio, I want to give my sibling the 3 4TB drives that are currently in my Unraid so she can use them in a mini NAS, She is providing me a 12 TB in exchange, (she gets my old mini nas as well)I have plenty of empty space (46TB free) in my UNraid box.Is there a safe way to move these disks out of the unraid system? Everything I can find when searching is about removing failed drives or replacing drives with new larger drives. But I would be removing 3 drives and only replacing 1.Thanks for any assistance.Setup unraid in August and it has been running great since :D
Yesterday at 07:58 AM1 day Community Expert You can use the 12TB disk to replace one of them, assuming parity is big enough, then empty the other small disks using the mover empty disk function. Finally, you would need to do a new config without the disks you'll be removing and resync parity.
