June 28, 201214 yr That will nicely fit 2x Norco 4224s. I don't have $400 to spend on those large server racks, and I only need it to hold 2x 4U cases. My friend bought the official norco rack and 6 months later he still hasn't got it to work, many calls to Norco and the holes just don't line up with anything. Any suggestions? Would this work and what else would I need? http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-SR4POST13-4-Post-Cabinet/dp/B001ER6DA4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340846519&sr=8-1&keywords=SR4POST13
June 28, 201214 yr my suggestion is if you are tight on a budget, go to home depot or lowes and build the rack to your size. Here is an example of one. It is def going to be way cheaper provided you are handy with simple diy. http://blog.deadlycomputer.com/2006/09/17/458/
June 28, 201214 yr Search Craigslist. I bought both of my racks off Craigslist for less than $200 each. An HP 22u rack was on CL in Dallas a couple of weeks ago for $225.
June 28, 201214 yr +1 for craigslist or local resale channel. Racks and cabinets are for sell all the time, and real cheap as no one wants to pay shipping, even to the dump.

It's great, and will definitely hold your cases, plus give you a little more space for a patch panel, switch, ups, etc. You shouldn't need anything else as long as you have rails or shelves.
