1 hour ago1 hr Readarr Redux is an unofficial continuation of Readarr, the ebook and audiobook manager for Usenet and BitTorrent. The Servarr team retired Readarr in June 2025. This fork moves it to .NET 10, fixes the bugs that made Readarr delete or mislink books (multi-part audiobooks, refreshes that dropped books from an author, rescans that missed series files), and works with a metadata source you choose. It is not affiliated with or supported by the Servarr team. Please don't ask about it in the Readarr or Servarr Discord, ask here or on GitHub.Before you install: you need a metadata source. Readarr Redux ships with no default one. Run rreading-glasses yourself (https://github.com/blampe/rreading-glasses) or use a public instance you trust, then enter its URL in Settings, Metadata Source. Without it, searches for authors and books return nothing.InstallSearch for "Readarr Redux" in Community Applications, or add the template repo https://github.com/dervish666/unraid-templates by hand.SettingContainer sideDefaultNotesWebUI Port8787/tcp8787Change the host side if 8787 is takenAppdata/config/mnt/user/appdata/readarr-reduxconfig.xml, readarr.db, logs, coversBooks/books(you pick)Add it as a root folder in Settings, Media ManagementDownloads/downloads(you pick)Must match your download client's path, or set a remote path mappingPUID / PGID99 / 100nobody:usersUMASK022TZEurope/LondonSet your ownImage tags: latest is the newest release (v0.6.0 now). develop follows every merge and will have rough edges. Open the container log (Docker tab, click the icon, Logs) and look for the line starting "No login is set up yet". The code changes every time the container starts. Enter it, then set up a login in Settings, General. I'd use Forms (login page) authentication with "Required" rather than "Disabled for Local Addresses".Moving from the linuxserver.io Readarr containerIt reads the same layout: config.xml and readarr.db at the root of /config. Stop the old container and copy its appdata folder to the new path. Don't point both at the same folder. The database upgrade is one way, so the old copy is your only way back.Reporting problemsBugs: https://github.com/dervish666/readarr-redux/issues (there's a bug report form). Include the version from System, Status, and a trace log covering the problem (Settings, General, Log Level: Trace, then System, Logs, Files). Logs can contain paths and indexer names, so look before you paste.Questions and ideas: here, or https://github.com/dervish666/readarr-redux/discussionsSecurity issues: please report privately at https://github.com/dervish666/readarr-redux/security/advisories/new, not in this thread. One person maintains this in his spare time, so replies can take a few days.LinksSource: https://github.com/dervish666/readarr-reduxReleases and changelog: https://github.com/dervish666/readarr-redux/releasesDocker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/dervish/readarr-reduxTemplate: https://github.com/dervish666/unraid-templates
