Not likely. What unRAID version are you on?

4.7

Make a full backup of your flash drive, take a screen shot of your devices page. Start with a clean go script, and follow the upgrade instructions.

It is a "production" system.

I would expect from Lime to certify their own hardware..

Just checking to see if you made any customizations to your go script. Otherwise it should be good to go.

I have the s3_sleep script (forgot its correct name), I think I have also directory caching script..

I do not run any kind of torrent, http, etc.

I am worried about hardware, drivers, .. and mostly - data loss..

I have WD and Seagate 2TB and 1.5TB drives,

Updating will not affect data integrity. You have the Supermicro C2SEA and (2) Adaptec 1430SA controllers and (1) ? single lane controller. The adaptecs are running in other systems well.

The only controller that is having driver issues in v5 is the MV8 controller.

I know the directory caching script works from experience, and the s3 script if working now, will work in v5.  I would comment out the s3 myself before the initial boot.

If you make a full backup of your 4.7 flash, and screen copy your devices page..you'll be good to go.

Thanks!

Updating will not affect data integrity.

However... follow the upgrade instructions exactly.

If you see ANY drive showing as un-formatted, do not start the array.  Definitely, do not press any "Format" buttons.
