RC5 won't boot correctly. I can see tower with Unmenu but not normal menu?

Featured Replies

My Unraid server will not boo to normal operation. I can access it using Unmenu but I can load the unRaid Main menu page or any of the or ther standard pages, only Unmenu. I tried changing my go script back to stock and that made it so I could see anything so I changed it back to how it was. Not really sure what is going on here. I attached my syslog & go config that I was able to get through Unmenu. Please help. I want to get it running again and get Serviio working with my Asus TF300t tablet.

syslog-2012-06-30.txt

go-backup.txt

See my sig for the stock go file. Add # to the front of any additional lines and reboot.

I already tried the stock go file that is in your sig and nothing booted at that point.

If you have couchpotatov2 running then remove that plg file

i had same issue

Couch did an upgrade which makes emhttp crash

see my post in the couchv2 thread in the plugins forum

No running CP2 that I know of. I have not updated myself or used it since it first came out.

Your syslog shows couch potato and a bunch of plugins are being started. Disabling them as suggested is the first step.

If it doesn't work with the extras disabled then that syslog would be helpful.

How do i disable them from Unmenu or some other method?

Is unmenu running? It should not be. The go file should be the stock version in my sig. The contents of /boot/config/plugins (flash/config/plugins) needs to be removed (or moved to /boot/temp/plugins).

I had a similar issue before. Are you running any antivirus, specifically eset nod32?

Server is working now. I removed a line of code in the GO config and it is working. Weird.

Ok, my server is still not working. It is back to booting with unmenu working in the back ground but not booting the actually unraid system. I changed the go config to stock and I get no boot. Where do I go from here? I change my go config back so I can at least boot to unmenu for now.

No one ever answered how I disable the plugins?

No one ever answered how I disable the plugins?

Yes, they did. In the original reply to your first post in this thread. Go back up and read dgaschk's signature.

How to disable plugins:

The contents of /boot/config/plugins (flash/config/plugins) needs to be removed (or moved to /boot/temp/plugins).

Ok thanks. Sorry for not paying attention the old posts. I got the plugins disabled and go config to stock and its working now.

If I want any plugins should I just re-install them?

Get updated versions that will NOT prevent the server from booting.

I just had the same thing happen to me. Plugin installs were about 4 or 5 days old and were installed from the Influenced package.

I've got all plugin data in a temp folder as directed. What is the best way to restore it?

Kobayashi, I believe its the sickbeard plug-in not installing correctly, I rebooted last night and had the same issue, looking into it now.

Snowman, the plug-ins you are using are very old and in some cases will not work anymore. It appears your server quit its "boot up" after trying to start couchpotato, my bet is if you went to the server itself and hit enter on the keyboard, everything would come up as expected.
