is there a simple way to find any deleted files and restore selectively (in V5)?

    Stock unraid has no such function afaik. If it's deleted, it's gone. Sometimes it's possible to do a rebuild tree and get something back, but it's not guaranteed to be a usable intact file. There are ways to add a recycle bin function to files deleted through samba share access.
