November 19, 201312 yr as mentioned, the update process failed a while ago and broke the inbuilt updater. If you are missing things, such as the providers it probably means that CP files have been recoded and called from a different location. In the plugin, change the install directory and pull a fresh/clean install from github and see if that resolves your issue. If not, you can always go back to your previous install location.

November 25, 201312 yr Anybody having trouble running 0.46 of NZBmegasearch? It used to work fine before, but will now only pull results from the preconfigured default providers. I had it working with nzb.su before but now it doesn't. I tried API + Manual, API Only and Manual only and it doesn't return any results. If I chose API only, it says that it is searching 0 providers. Also, there are errors in the log, so may be a problem in the new version: 2013-11-24 22:56:45,919 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - AttributeError: iter 2013-11-24 22:56:45,919 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - for elem in tree.iter('item'): 2013-11-24 22:56:45,919 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/mnt/cache/custom/nzbmegasearch/SearchModule.py", line 334, in parse_xmlsearch 2013-11-24 22:56:45,919 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - parsed_data = self.parse_xmlsearch(urlParams, cfg['timeout'], cfg) 2013-11-24 22:56:45,919 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/mnt/cache/custom/nzbmegasearch/SearchModules/Newznab.py", line 89, in search 2013-11-24 22:56:45,919 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - localResults = neededModule.search(queryString, cfg) 2013-11-24 22:56:45,918 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/mnt/cache/custom/nzbmegasearch/SearchModule.py", line 236, in performSearchThread 2013-11-24 22:56:45,918 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - self.__target(*self.__args, **self.__kwargs) 2013-11-24 22:56:45,918 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/usr/lib/python2.6/threading.py", line 484, in run 2013-11-24 22:56:45,918 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - self.run() 2013-11-24 22:56:45,918 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/usr/lib/python2.6/threading.py", line 532, in __bootstrap_inner 2013-11-24 22:56:45,918 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - Traceback (most recent call last): 2013-11-24 22:56:45,917 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - Exception in thread Thread-22: 2013-11-24 22:56:45,911 - SearchModule - INFO - TS https://nzb.su 0.769385814667 2013-11-24 22:56:45,303 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - AttributeError: iter 2013-11-24 22:56:45,303 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - for elem in tree.iter('item'): 2013-11-24 22:56:45,303 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/mnt/cache/custom/nzbmegasearch/SuggestionModule.py", line 102, in ask_predb 2013-11-24 22:56:45,303 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - self.__target(*self.__args, **self.__kwargs) 2013-11-24 22:56:45,303 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/usr/lib/python2.6/threading.py", line 484, in run 2013-11-24 22:56:45,303 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - self.run() 2013-11-24 22:56:45,303 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - File "/usr/lib/python2.6/threading.py", line 532, in __bootstrap_inner 2013-11-24 22:56:45,302 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - Traceback (most recent call last): 2013-11-24 22:56:45,302 - TERMINAL_ERR - ERROR - Exception in thread Thread-20:
November 26, 201312 yr Hello everyone, I have finally moved my Sickbeard and Sabnzbd installs to my unRAID server. Thank you to a great community for making this possible .... It's a great way to automate and manage my TV series. However, I've run into a problem; My install works very well and is configured properly. It uses the /mnt/cache/appdata/ directory for both sick beard and sabnzbd. But for some reason, every night, during the night, something happens to most of the data in my sick beard directory, including the sickbeard.db and config.ini files. When I check in on it in the morning, sick beard is still running but it give me an sql error. What is happening to my files? Is it the mover moving my sick beard files to somewhere? How do I prevent this from happening? How do I exclude the /appdata directory from being touched by the mover? Thank you for your help!

You need to post a syslog or SB log Good evening, Thanks for looking at my post. I've have attached an excerpt from my unRAID syslog for the period over night, between when I left SickBeard running properly and the morning when I found that SickBeard wasn't running anymore. I've cut the length of the log by trimming a bunch of file moves. I don't think I've taken any lines of importance. I couldn't find a way of getting the SickBeard log beyond the period since starting it with the new config this morning. I hope this help figuring out my problem. Lastly, I was wondering if this had anything to do with "run as user" setting within SickBeard plugin page. Thanks in advance. syslog.txt

If I remember correctly, go into shares and modify "apps" share to use cache disk only. Same thing was happening to me for awhile. Once you make the change, you can test it by running mover manually by going to Settings/Other settings/Share settings and click move now.

November 27, 201312 yr Any chance on making a plugin for NZBDrone? +2. Sickbeard works but NZBDrone is much better these days.

Once you make the change, you can test it by running mover manually by going to Settings/Other settings/Share settings and click move now. Well, I have good news and bad news ... You were right, it seems to be specific to the mover script. I changed the share settings for both the "appdata" and the "cachetmp" folder to be use only the cache, but unfortunately, when I manually activated the mover script, it seems to have done whatever leads to the problem. I replaces my config.ini and sick beard.db files with "new install" files and I lose my settings, show listing and SickBeard stops working. and that's the good news ... At least I have a better understanding of what's going on! The bad news is that I can't seem to figure out why it's happening and how to fix it Any ideas what might be the problem?
November 28, 201312 yr post a screen shot of your config. I have use cache only for both app data and apps
November 28, 201312 yr Hi Berg, just a possible workaround for your issue with the mover moving your apps, i use the old unraid trick of having my apps in a folder named with a period at the front, this prevents the mover from moving this folder (and sub folders), so for me my cache drive looks like this:- /mnt/cache/.Apps/<my apps> so you could always give this a try, i realise it will mean re-installing your apps to the new location and changing paths but i have zero issues with the mover script and also means you dont have to mess around with setting shares etc. edit - looking at my settings "data directory" and "install directory" are separate for the config of sabnzbd+ (probably the same for CP and SB?) you will need to ensure they are both using the same common path, with data being in a subdir of the install path e.g.:- install path = /mnt/cache/.Apps/SABnzbd data path = /mnt/cache/.Apps/SABnzbd/Data sounds to me like your issue is that you haven't set the data directory correctly, and thus your loosing config.ini etc binhex.

Thanks guys! I appreciate your efforts. Using the period in-front of my directories might be the solution that I settle with, but in the meantime, I've attached screenshots of my settings for both SickBeard and SABnzbd. It is a Mover script issue. I turned off the Mover and I have not had any other issues. I have also discovered that it is both apps that suffer the problem. It only becomes apparent for SABnzbd after a restart. I would love to hear what you think of my settings. In fact, I would love your advice I would also try to minimize the spin up of my drives, including the cache drive if I could. I would probably be willing to add a small drive, maybe even a laptop drive to help with that and to be used only for my apps. What do you guys think? Any good guides that describe how to set that up? Thanks again for all you help ... This is a great community!
November 29, 201312 yr ok berg, so looking at your screenshots i would configure as follows:- sabnzbd install directory set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd tick data directory and set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/data sickbeard install directory set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sickbeard tick data directory and set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sickbeard/data basically as you have it set right now your not specifying a data directory for sabnzbd, and for sickbeard your installing to ram, so everything will be lost on a reboot!! (/usr/local is stored in ram) one other thing to note, i would advise setting the "run as user" to be "nobody", unless there is a particular reason you wish to tie the permissions down to a single account? (admin in your case)
November 30, 201312 yr Hello everybody, I have a problem with sabnzbc and sickbeard: the plugins install correctly, but they don't start. I Have attached my System Log, can someone please help me? log.zip

November 30, 201312 yr I have installed just Transmission, Sabnzbc e Sickbeard. Now I've tried to copy in the directory /boot/packages the package downloaded but I still got the error in the message log, it looks like this package it's downloaded and overwrited each time by some old plugin not completely uninstalled. Maybe I should try to format and reinstall unRaid?
November 30, 201312 yr Rename the packages folder and reboot. I would also redownload the plg files again. No need to reinstall unraid
November 30, 201312 yr ok berg, so looking at your screenshots i would configure as follows:- sabnzbd install directory set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd tick data directory and set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sabnzbd/data sickbeard install directory set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sickbeard tick data directory and set to /mnt/cache/appdata/sickbeard/data basically as you have it set right now your not specifying a data directory for sabnzbd, and for sickbeard your installing to ram, so everything will be lost on a reboot!! (/usr/local is stored in ram) one other thing to note, i would advise setting the "run as user" to be "nobody", unless there is a particular reason you wish to tie the permissions down to a single account? (admin in your case) I must have missed this step. Both of my directory settings are the same, meaning I did not create a data directory. The instructions said to check the box and put the same path in there. Therefore all 3 use the same install and data directory. I don't think I'm having any issues, but I'm new to these plugins. What is the down side of having both in the same directory? And more importantly, should I redo my install? I hope I wouldn't have to reconfig everything again.
November 30, 201312 yr Rename the packages folder and reboot. I would also redownload the plg files again. No need to reinstall unraid Yeee now it' working! Thank you!!!
