I just bought one from newegg.  any reason why i can see my hard on my tower? in the bios the hard drive shows up and it wont show up on my tower page.  i tried setting the card from what it comes as the default to jobd and that didnt work either. any thoughts??

A little forum searching is highly recommended before investing in hardware for unRAID.

Chances are if you can grab the linux driver, compile a new kernel and build a custom bzroot then you may be able to get the card to work in non raid mode.
