July 9, 201213 yr One of my drives is showing the following. This drive seems to be operating rather slow as well. I read a short and long test and they passed ok though. As you can see in the text attached. Nothing in syslog for this drive. Is this something I should be concerned about.? I can't nail it down with google searching. smartlog.txt
July 9, 201213 yr Author The things throwing up red flags for me are... "SMART Error Log Version: 1 Warning: ATA error count 29377 inconsistent with error log pointer 5 ATA Error Count: 29377 (device log contains only the most recent five errors)" and multiple instances of these "Error: IDNF at LBA = 0x0fffff00 = 268435200" But I will take your word for it. Just need to determine where my issue is with the slowdowns then. Sometimes I love tech and other times.. not so much.
