Server boots up but I can't see the drives

Featured Replies

I just upgraded my unRAID set up with following:

Supermicro X7DVL-E Mobo

2 x 1 Gig RAM

Supermicro SASLP-MV8

750 watt power supply

Norco 4020 case

unRAID version (unchanged from 4.5 beta 11 prior to HW upgrade)

Server boots up fine and I can get to the management screen.

I see the previous setup, but I can't find any of the drives. None of the drives connected to Supermicro card or on-board SATA (through multi-plexed SATA to SAS cable) show up. What do I need to do?

Many thanks in advance!

Yes - at least I see some of the drives attached to the onboard SATA; I don't think I'm seeing the ones attached to the Supermicro SASLP-MV8.

So I should at least see the drives attached to the onboard SATA, but no luck.
