Some inaccessable files - RC3 (solved)

Featured Replies

Have  moved from 5.11 to RC3 a few weeks ago which may or may not be related but I just recently noticed that I have lost some access to part of my music collection. The files are accessible via explorer and play from that location but if i try to let my Sonos or media monkey "catalogue" them, they get left out. All of the problem files are marked as ready only in windows but changing them from windows doesn't seem to have any effect.

How can I reset all the files to read/write via unraid please? I have tried running the new permissions utility but that hasn't made any difference.

Well just for anyone else having similar issues....

I tried chmod the files to 777 but still the same. Upgrade to RC4 and now its good, everything seems normal.

Can you please rename the thread to (solved). If the issue creeps back up you can reopen it, good to hear a newer RC fixed the issue :)
