For anyone considering this card, it works beautifully. About 1.7x faster than my pervious Netgear PCI card. Now I have regained a PCI slot for more SATA ports. :)

Nice.  70% is an enormous improvement.

Yeah, very happy with it. I guess I was mistaken about the price. The cheapest on eBay is $65 plus shipping. I got mine for a final price of $30, so I count myself lucky.
