July 19, 201213 yr I installed the irssi package via: wget http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-13.37/slackware/n/irssi-0.8.15-i486-3.txz However when I try to run it I get irssi: symbol lookup error: irssi: undefined symbol: g_malloc0_n Has anyone successfully gotten it to run under unRaid that can tell me what else I need to do?
February 27, 201313 yr Author I just ran across this and thought I'd update in case you're following the topic. wget http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-13.0/patches/packages/irssi-0.8.15-i486-1_slack13.0.txz Then you can installpkg irssi.... I cp mine to /boot/extra so it now installs when I reboot. I'm not sure if I have something else installed that fulfills a dependency or if it's compiled differently but it works for me. If you try it let me know if it worked or not for you.
