[SOLVED] access denied issues- need some help: using unraid server plus v 4.7

Featured Replies

Hi,

I seem to have some permissions issues that I'm not sure how to resolve. Examples include:

1.) using quicktime pro on Windows 7 or when in Adobe Premiere Pro, I try to export a Quicktime movie to my unraid, and I get a quicktime error that references it cannot create the file. My workaround is to export the movie to my desktop and then move it over to my unraid.

2.) using windows explorer, I drag and drop some local files and folders onto a directory in my unraid and certain files (like DLLs) will not copy. Example: my windows file copy window halts when it hits certain files, ; like a file named msvcr.dll. I try to cancel the copy and the windows dialogue won't close or cancel, it seems to have hung up on copying that small file over.

3.) using a windows batch file to xcopy files from a local directory to folders on my unraid, I get multiple "access denied" in the .bat file.

I'm on windows 7 64 Ultimate version on my workstation that I'm copying files from. I access my unraid by using windows mapped network drives via a startup batch file.

EG: net use X: \\UNRAID\unraid /persistent:yes

Attached is my syslog that I just pulled just now. "Simple" level security is enabled. Any help is appreciated!!!
