Ok...why I'm asking this questions is that, like myself, I'm sure everyone is mainly building his unRAID and other storage systems to store the media (movies and TV shows) mainly.

 

I consider myself downloading hell a lot of things, almost any movie I find i download, and about 140 tv shows.  with all this, I found myself stuck at 13-15 TB...btw, I always download 720p.

 

To start, I'll list my needs requiring more storage than 15TB:

 

1.) Movies & TV Shows.

2.) fileshare (not too much though, about 2 TB is enough).

3.) Backups of my systems (e.g. laptop, home pc...1 TB will be sufficient).

4.) Now, with the plan to use ESXi, I'll need storage for datastores to store the VMs, and templates.....)

 

Maybe I'm missing something fun that you are doing...lol
