Are there issues with the newest drives on this old controller? I want to upgrade my old unraid and i had 2 of these old controllers spare.

    There were several revisions of the TX4 S150, so I can't say for certain.    But I do KNOW that the TX4's that I have in a couple older systems do NOT support drives > 2TB

     

    ... my best guess is that they do NOT support the higher capacity drives  ==> but since you already have the specific controllers, just do as suggested above:  i.e. TRY IT  :)
