Moving drives to new unraid system, what's the procedure?

Ok, I have a plan to build my ultimate system (you will find it in this forum, it's called "My711rev1".

 

Before investing in that, I have an old p4 pc, which I can covert it to an unraid system with minimum upgrade of new components.

 

So I was thinking to but these components with the drives, and build a temporary unraid system.  If I do so, and later on in the future, I build my ultimate system, and want to use these same drives in the temp system, what will be the procedure to do so?  Of course, I want to keep all the data in it.
