July 28, 201213 yr So I've found two more that i like: http://www.langtoninfo.com/showitem.aspx?isbn=4250078185420 http://store.chassisoutlet.com/snthoalba5xs.html Anyone used either? The IcyBox looks awesome because of the massive intake vents in front, but 99% of the vendors are overseas (England) and the link above is the only place I can find them listed in US dollars (and they're not cheap). The SNT looks good (scroll down at the pics and notice that the fans are basically pulling DIRECTLY from the drive chamber, nothing in the way) but I'd consider drilling additional vent holes in the plastic panels on the tray covers). Comments?

July 28, 201213 yr Author Also, before someone posts about 50mm fans being too loud, I'd be removing them as I have massive case fans that I'd use to pull air through, and the rest of the case will be completely sealed.

The new istar 5-in-3 is here: http://www.istarusa.com/drivecages/bpndespec.php I checked last month, they said it would be available now for $104

I believe that is by far the best way to use the cages and it is exactly what I have done, working in ambient temperatures which are usually in excess of 30C. I have three of the older model, here, and I'm very happy with them. The new model is on this page, and would seem to be an improvement in some ways.

I have the older model and it was easy to modify and add an 80 or 92mm fan instead of the two small fans. I have a 4in3 of the new model and the 80mm fan works fine with relatively low noise.
