I was going to give eskro's build over at xbmc a try, I ordered a ASRock 880GM-LE (it uses Realtek 8111DL). But the store I oredered it from mailed me today notifying me that the card had been sold in store.. and they were basically the only one with a card left.

So I was looking around and I fouind this card:

http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=2&gid=361&sgid=362&pid=339&psn=&lid=1&leg=0

it also uses the Realtek 8111DL but instead of SATA II I get SATA III, and I found it for a really good price.

But will that one do instead of the other card? I've checked that all other parts will work, I am mainly curious about unRAID software.

Thanks

Hi Zyke, I saw no one got back to you on this so I'll try to help. If you haven't heard from anyone then the only way to be certain is if you give it a go.

I suspect that it would work as the Asus board I'm using has the same controllers. The network may not depending on which version of unRAID you are running. The latest betas with the realtek module should work well otherwise just plug an intel PCI nic card in.
