[SOLVED] Unable to access main menu via browser

Featured Replies

Hello.  I'm trying to solve a problem with one of my unRAID 4.7 servers and so far I have been unsuccessful.

I can't access the main lime-tech system management page from my web browser.  I CAN access unmenu from my browser but I can't access the lime-tech management page.

For example:

Entering http://triton or //triton into my web browser takes me to the error page shown below.

Entering http://triton:8080 or //triton:8080 successfully loads the unmenu utility.

Does anyone know why unmenu is working but the default lime-tech main page does not?

Thanks for any help.

is emhttp running?  If not, there can not be any web-management pages served by it?

Type(on the system console, or via telnet after logging in):

ps -ef | grep emhttp | grep -v grep

and see if it is running.

It looks like emhttp is running:

root@Triton:~# ps -ef | grep emhttp | grep -v grep
root      1338     1  0 08:19 ?        00:00:00 /usr/local/sbin/emhttp

can you get to it by IP address?  it is possible your PC is routing it oddly.

I tried accessing it by ip-address //192.168.1.21 but I get the exact same result.

I'm also wondering about the routing here on the local network.  I haven't mucked around with router settings on my PC or my Netgear router.  I do have another unRAID 4.7 server that is running fine and I can access the lime-tech main page on that server without any problems so I'm somewhat stumped about this other server.

I gave up trying to find the cause of this and decided to re-install a fresh copy of unRAID 4.7 on my server.  I transferred all of my data files to a temporary location then I formatted the USB key and re-installed the unRAID 4.7 OS.  After doing this the main lime-tech configuration page would load from the browser once again.

Not sure what caused the initial problem but it's fixed now.
