MTA99
Hi, If you live in the UK I'm sure you're aware that the BBC are showing every event from London 2012. The vast majority of the events are shown online. A quick google comes up the get_iplayer as capable of downloading (and streaming) these events. So far I've used a Slackbuild to compile a package, installed that package on my unRAID box and used unMENU to install perl. When I try running the script I get the following error Can't locate HTML/Entities.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0/i486-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.0/i486-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/i486-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl .) at /usr/bin/get_iplayer line 58. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/get_iplayer line 58. According to google I need to install LWP. I've tried using CPAN to install it but I get a list of errors that run into page after page. Has anyone got any tips or ideas on getting perl to work? Thanks Quote Link to comment
neilt0
I've tried and failed with get_iplayer as well. If anyone gets it working, it'd be very useful. Quote Link to comment
darkside40
I would guess there is something missing in the Perls installations which is required by the iplayer. Maybe it helps if you take a look here: https://code.google.com/p/get-flash-videos/issues/detail?id=253 Quote Link to comment
