Anyone know if this is a good deal for a 12-15 drive unRAID server as I'm unfamiliar with the Xclio brand.

Specs look good, and more than adequate for 15 green drives.  The 12V rail would be marginal for simultaneous spin-up of 15 non-green drives.

I'm new at this (reading specs on Power Supplies), so bear with me. When you say "marginal" I assume you're talking about the 44A on the 12v rail as compaired to say 54A on the Corsair TX650?

Correct.  Our 'rule of thumb' which may be a little generous, is that the maximum spin-up current of a green drive is 2A, and a non-green drive is 3A.  Then you have to allow that there will be other devices drawing some power from the +12V rail.
