Those of us using large video files (Weddings, Advertising (low budjet), it certainly would make moving files around so much faster! Thoughts, Comments, next steps?
August 9, 201213 yr You did notice that article was from 2008 so today things are completely different in prices and technologies?
August 11, 201213 yr Infiniband is the new token ring. Servers are all shipping with 10g Ethernet these days so infiniband will die I think, you will probably get the hardware cheap second hand but I guess it won't be supported forever.
