Is there a package/AddOn that installs mono on the 4.7 series of UnRaid? I tried searching the forums but I just get motherboards etc when I try with mono, whereas C# yields zero results.

 

I'd of course be interested to know if there is one for the 5 series as well even tho I can not use it until I upgrade

Not that i know of but this package should install on 5.0beta:

There are some dependencies that would need to be satisfied also.

If i look around at that site i see a lot more mono versions for slackware; how do i decide which one will work on an unraid machine using v5 rc5?

 

Im a c#/windows developer myself, but i would love to make some mono based stuff for unraid. Im also developing iOS apps using monotouch/monodevelop on a mac.

You will/can try the versions that exist for Slackware 13.37 or 13.1 32bit versions since that is the closest versions that unRAID 5.0 RCs are based on.
