What is the safe way to move drive from one cage to another?

I have this green led light issue, I would like to check if that's not a Supermicro 5-in-3 cage problem.

How can I safely move the drive to another, unoccupied, cage?

    That's about it.

    Are you using Seagate 3tb drives? They have a issue with most drive cages causing inverse led conditions for on and activity lights.
