I'm afraid i bought the wrong hardware

I wanted to expand my number of drives. And bought a 8-port controller.

A supermicro AOC-USASLP-L8I.

 

Is it possible to use this card in combination with unraid because i can't get it to work. I just want to verify if it is at all possible. Or I should just give up and buy another.

I'm not an expert but this is what I found:

 

Amazon says it is an LSI1068e card:
