August 15, 201213 yr I just built an UnRaid box and it's up and running. It wasn't that hard considering I have no Linux background. I decided to install 4.7 only because it was stable build and I figured I'd be better off. I'm trying to install some addons like unmenu and eventually PLEX, but I can't anything to install. I created the "unmenu" directory on the root of the flash drive in Windows Explorer and copied the "unmenu_install" file to it over the network. I toggle over the KVM and go to the command line, login as "root" and cannot change to the directory I made in Windows nor can I do the "mkdir" command and see that directory in Windows. I am about to lose my mind because I'm sure I'm neglecting to do something very simple or don't understand the way Linux works... HELP!
August 15, 201213 yr when you log in you need to type cd /boot/unmenu /boot/ is the flash drive you can make directories by typing mkdir new_folder so that will make a directory called "new_folder" in the unmenu folder on your flash stick
