plex and static sound

hi all i am new to unraid but i have got plex running on it fine but i have one problem. i use plex to to stream movies to my ps3 and when watching movies with dts sound i get about 10 seconds into the movie when it stops or i get static sound. i have ticked the box in the settings to downgrade the sound to 2 Chanel but this does not work. when i do the same movies running plex from my mac it works fine.
