Saw a similar post in 5RC posts, but really I think for now belongs in here; particularly my question:

 

Anyone know how I can add this to unmenu, or perhaps simple features can pickup this so that I can see temps of drives behind an Areca controller?

 

right now I need to initiate smartctl like this:

smartctl -A -d areca,4 /dev/sg3 |grep ^194 | awk '{print $10}'

 

where sgX is 3 for me, and areca,N where N=drive number on controller (in my case i have 1-4).

Anyone know how I can add this to unmenu?

unMENU is just a series of ".awk" scripts.  Edit them, changing to add your local additions.
